Collection: Thorsten Quaeschning
Thorsten Quaeschning is a German musician whose day job is leading Berlin’s legendary electro group Tangerine Dream. He was born into a classically trained musical family and grew up playing violin, piano and flute.
His musical career has included working with some of Germany’s biggest acts as an arranger and producer, before joining Tangerine Dream in 2005, and runs another musical project called Picture Palace Music.
Cargo is a taut thriller written and directed by James Dylan, that stars actor Ron Thompson in the lead role and tells the bleak yet compelling story of the events that unfold when a man wakes trapped inside a cargo container with only a cell phone and is given 24 hours by his kidnappers to raise ten million dollars in ransom or die. Thorsten’s original soundtrack brings his unique electronic vision to the big screen, following in the footsteps of classic Tangerine Dream soundtracks such as Firestarter, Risky Business, Near Dark and Thief.
